    Yeah, I kinda agree it's getting outta hand with the whole comparisons. I know that there are going to be some, but the level of comparisons that are out there right now kind of just get annoying after a while. People keep reiterating the same things, basically just complaining. I'm fine with comparing two shows. But when it becomes a daily routine, it gets old.

    @DamonElena, couldn't agree more :) When Buffy, Spike, Giles - WHOEVER is mentioned in almost every single thread (okay, exaggeration!) then it's annoying.

    Besides, after the Buffy thread we suddenly had a Supernatural thread and even though I love that show and wrote a fex comments in it, I'll go to a Supernatural FORUM whenever I want to discuss that show.

    Yeah, TVD is TVD...it shouldn't be compared to other supernatural shows, like they're something to live up to. That just makes TVD look like a waste, compared to them and I don't like that.

    I've never seen BTVS but I love TVD and I always will.

    I AGREE WITH THIS THREAD!!! I DON'T FUCKING CARE IF THE SHOWS HAVE THE SAME GENRE THEY ARE DIFFERENT. YOU WANT BUFFY? GO WATCH BUFFY AND STOP WHINING ABOUT EVERY LITTLE THING THAT HAPPENED IN BUFFY AND IS NOT HAPPENING IN TVD. WRITERS, SHOWS ARE DIFFERENT. AND TVD WASN'T MADE TO PLEASE BUFFY FANS ITS A SHOW OF ITS OWN AND HAS ITS OWN FAN BASE.     And honestly, I don't see any scene comparisons. At least not major ones. Maybe I just missed them. But I know people who INSIST TVD copied a bunch of scenes. But I've watched Buffy and I've never seen anything major...

    Yes, I know Elena will always be compared to Buffy. But to ask the writers to make Elena the mirror image of her? That's just ridiculous...

    LOL. You guys are just teasing the tiger with your comments. Soon he's gonna come out all gunz blazing to defend the honor of his beloved BTVS. To be honest i'm surprised he hasn't done it already. I suggest you guys get ready for the barrage of comparisons and mediocre critique thats coming. 

    BATTER DOWN GUYS AND TRY NOT TO GET INTO ANY MEANINGLESS ARGUMENTS, HE THRIVES ON THOSE :)
