The only movie I really liked with her was Cruel Intentions, otherwise it seems that producers expect that having SMG in your movie will automatically make it the best.

True...people should separate threads. For example, if their's a thread made specifically for TVD then people shouldn't be constantly talking about Buffy on that thread and just make a Buffy thread it'self, so Buffy lovers can do their thing on there. Then no one is offended.
So I don't like the thread "BTVS and TVD" because it compares the two shows when they should be separated.

Although SMG is connected to TVD, since Williamson wanted to cast her in there..multiple times. Thankfully she refused.
Another set of the videos that youtube removed over the years:
BTVS - Beginning of The End - A video about the separation and distancing of the main group as well as the darkness inside them.
(spoiler)Spike - Psycho - Focuses on Spike, his deranged and dark mind as well as buffy.
BTVS - Slayers Trailer - Describes the death-bringing darkness that is a slayer.
Spike/Buffy - Blood of Me - Deranged, strange, broken, yet sweet and realistic relationship that developed between those two broken souls
(spoiler) Buffy/Faith - Don't know the name of this one, but pretty much covers their love/hate/despise cycle of feelings they feel towards each other.
So I don't like the thread "BTVS and TVD" because it compares the two shows when they should be separated.
I though tpeople have covered this already - comparison between those show is innevitable. It will happen and it is happening and it will always happen. Deal with it.

I sorta agree that talking about Buffy in every thread isn't the way to. . . Have decent threads(duh). But when the ones of us who do, compare things in TVD with things in Buffy, it ain't the same. Talking about Buffy(Storyline, relationships etc), shouldn't be in any threads, other than the ones made for it. But comparing(as @Kitanishi said) to make good arguments, isn't the same thing. The reason we use Buffy specificly to compare is because TVD try to live up the the standards Buffy set. So tbh i don't see what is wrong with that, although for people who haven't seen BtVS is tends to get very annoying. Before i watched the show, i got a little annoyed when people used BtVS in arguments, because i had no idea what was going on xD
So i can understand it with people who haven't seen BtVS. But people who have seen it, or know of it, it is a great tool to reinforce your argument.
