Since Denmark is such a small country, I live near loads of videos sets! Nah, just kidding, not too close :) The closest one is the setting of the film "Nordkraft" based on the book by Jakob Ejersbo which was filmed mostly in the city I live in. Dunno if it's been translated so maybe you haven't heard of it but it's really popular here in Denmark, though the author has died from cancer :( May he rest in peace.

One time, I visisted a tavern in the small town 'Mørke' (after filming had ended) and it was cool to see a place from this Danish thriller/horror film :)

Forgot to write that "Mørke" was both the town and the other film's name :) (And it has nothing to do with "Nordkraft" - two different films!)

@grilledcheese yes, greece is beautiful, but these days it's very difficult to live here with all the economics problems. and maybe, canada is uneventful but it's right next to usa and many celebrities are canadian. greece is like in the middle of nowhere. well, it's not that bad but .....

@Stavroula, I'd love to visit Greece, it's my no. 1 on my list of places to go! I love Greek mythologi and the legend of Troy (though I know Troy is no more and was placed in what now is Anatolia or something, but I really want to visit?!

Do you know is the economical situation in Greece will lower the prices on flight tickets and hotels and such? :) (Not to sound like I don't care about your country's wealth and such, I think it's so weird that other countries are reluctant to help!)

@DamonSucksMyWorld I don't know about flight tickets. Hotels, I think, are cheaper these days. But, it depends on where you go and when. In the summer, everything is more expensive because it is when tourists come.

And I don't like it either that other countries are not reluctant to help, but if you think about it we made all this mess so it's kinda our problem. But, the other members of the european union should help us because if greece goes down then things will be bad for all europe. anyway, i don't like talking about politics because i get depressed. lol...

I haven't met the cast but my dad owns a few businesses and one of them is a bowling alley and after HP had finished filming either the 1st or 2nd film the cast all went bowling and my dad got their autographs for me :) Funny note they sent someone to macdonalds to pick up food for them and they had to use the back door of macdonalds :P

For some strange reason people love to film in the Highlands - you always see film cameras but it is always documentaries on either gaelic stuff or geographical and geological stuff. It is never anything famous apart from the previous mentioned.

The casting crew of HP always came to my high school for extras on the train but I was too young to do it until when they were filming the 7th and 8th films but by that time they didnt need extras for the train cos they didnt film much on the train at all. But it is quite cool seeing people you know on the film :D

@Stavroula, I know 'it's your own fault' but so was loads of other political and financial issues so I think we should help each other out as much as possible. Who knows, maybe Greece will be the lucky ones some day and the rest of us will need your help :)

@Catriona, I live in Aalborg in the north of Jutland, approximately 200 km from Esbjerg :) I've never been to Esbjerg myself, but I'm glad you like it here!
