Lol, I agree ! But as I watched it since the first season, I kinda grew up with it ^__^ We gotta admit it gives some good drama :)

Gray's has overstayed its welcome since few seasons ago. Its quite clear that writers have no idea what plots to write anymore, so the show just repeats itself again and again. It was one of better medical procedurals(and most medical procedurals not called house are crappy to begin with), but now? Meh.

Yeah I agree that it started off good but like House it just lost its touch, and the plane was beyond ridiculous, it's like they were asking you to stop watching the show right there.Posted 9/25/2012 12:38:04 PM #

For the plane crash, Shonda (the creator) had no choice since by the time they were shooting the final episodes she still didn't know who was leaving and who was staying from the cast. Cheryl for example asked to leave and not do season 9, therefore, the surprising death of Lexi. She kinda had to do an open-ended finale that could explain -somehow- the departure of those who could not sign for a 9th season. Notice that in the finale, they aren't saved (possiblity of death here).

Oh my god, I've only gotten to season 5 finale but I won't watch anything more cos I know Izzie is not gonna make it. sob

Oh, it's alright! I'm being serious when I say that I don't want to watch anything past season 5. I'm going to stop watching when it's still good, rather than watch it go down the drain, like all shows do sooner or later. Like with TVD. Had I stopped watching at 2x22, I would have been such a happy fan.
But oh my god, poor Lexi. I really loved her *sob*

I read the whole story from Shonda on Twitter, and I buy it, but my point is that it's so freaking annoying how several beloved characters have to make an exit through death just because their contract is up and they don't want to renew it. I guess they couldn't write another way for Lexie to leave but if her body getting crushed by a plane does not lower next seasons ratings, I'll be surprised.Posted 9/25/2012 5:49:24 PM #
