     I have to say I absolutely love this thread.

     I despise Matt so much and we got so close to getting rid of him, why did Bonnie have to save him?

     Also,is the show trying to make the audience feel sympathy for Matt cause if so, it is so not working.

     I mean Vicki is dead and so? she is dead character from season 1, why did we have to revisit this storyline?

     why was Jenna not the one being  a ghost instead of freaking Vicki Dnovan, who was not that much of a popular character ? Cause Plec's favorite, Matt wouldn't have a storyline otherwise, his character is such a bore and it was the only way they could do a sympathy storyline for him.

     Adding on, I hated Matt during his conversation with Bonnie when he was reminiscing about the past, about how life got so screwed for him, about how things have changed like Elena dating a vampire, Bonnie being a witch, Vicki being a ghost and he doesn’t even mentioned Caroline and Tyler, they are the ones who got really screwed in life and still have to suffer the consequences afterwards.

      

      

     Caroline got turned into a vampire against her will and Tyler became a werewolf through a very painful transformation and now, Tyler is a hybrid too. Still, Matt is a selfish jerk and only cares about his manpain and his stupid bills.

      

      

      

     I hate how the show is trying to turn Matt into a martyr and making everybody feel sorry for him as if he is the only one with problems in the universe * rolls eyes*, on the con tray he is the one with least amount of problems, he is still human and can live his life as he seems fit while Caroline’s life is never gonna be the same again and ditto, for Tyler too.  Still, they are trying to live their life as normally as possible and enjoy the little moments in life and Caroline still care about Matt as a friend and wants everybody to be happy despite everything bad going on while Matt continues to be annoying and whines constantly about his life.

      

     I can’t believe Bonnie is feeling sorry for him when not too long ago, when Caroline first turned, she couldn’t bother to show an ounce of sympathy for her when Caroline was her best friend. I mean sure when Caroline was first turned she killed a man in her blood lust but Bonnie could have shown another emotion other than disgust towards her and also, Matt is such an hypocrite though, I seem to remember how at the end of season 2, he didn’t want anything to do with the supernatural world, but now, suddenly he is talking to Bonnie and they are becoming fast friends, isn’t Bonnie a witch and forms part of the supernatural world?

      

      

     But, of course Matt doesn’t have any problem becoming friends with Bonnie and still, continuing to worship Elena even when, Elena and Bonnie were the ones in season 1, who hide things about Vicki’s death from Matt and Caroline and Tyler , back then, they were humans, were the ones who were completely in the dark.

      

     Matt is such a horrible friend to both Tyler and Caroline and I am very happy that he is now out of their life. JMO.

     I kinda warmed up to him a little bit this last ep, the guy was willing to die, in order to save tyler's life. I think he deserves some points for that :D

     Lol @ RedOktober you know i don't appreciate Matt, i just thought in this particular episode he did an awesome thing (because i really didn't want tyler to die ) but don't worry, further posts of mine on this thread will be purely for bashing purposes :D
