    Thats what i'm saying. The writers of this show have a serious hate towards humans. Y else would they kill or turn every other main character into something mystical? The ONLY human thats left is not setting a good example for what we would want our humans to act like. He's just BLAND and uncompromising. There's nothing corruptable about him.............he's too good...........and understandinable...........and boring. Which human in his right mind would get a taste of the supernatural, girlfriend is a vamp, BF is a were...... and would NOT want to be more involved. That woulf be HYPNOTIC for me, they would be NO WAY, unless you compel me, that i would NOT want to know what was going on. Matt is just too unbelievable...in a bad way

    Matt is not even good, he's a hypocrite. Tyler for one, I thought was a total tool but he grew up but this guy actually shrunk backwards.

    True, it's like you could SEE Matt's ball shrinking with every episode. TOTALLY USELESS. And then the writers give us a tease by making him know the details and go out with a gun to be USEFUL and what does he do..........give a half assed speech about his oh so boring reasons for not wanting to get invovled. REALLY?

    I don't really care about matt. I don't like but I don't dislike him. I kind of liked how when he found out about caroline being a vamp, he didn't want to be part of it all. Cause in twilight, i hated how bella was just like oh ur a vampire? okay i want to be one too. Realistically would you want to give up everything to live forever with some highschool boyfriend? Well if it was damon... ;)) But I just liked how it differed from the regular vamp-human storyline. And it gave an opening for TYLER-CAROLINE<33
