imo matt and caroline are a cute couple, don't you think? i mean yes hes not over elena and shesnot over damon but theyre trying to make it work and it's realistic.. besides, even if ure madly in love head over heels for idunnowho u'd still remember ur crush if u see him with ur friend no?

yes i do think caroline and matt are full of cuteness. i really like how it came about. it's kinda refreshing to see to say the least cause in the land of GG, characters hook up with other character's exes every week and it seems nobody finds it wierd or is bothered by it and i don't think it should be like that. i think by doing it you confuse the hell out of the audience as well as purposely by pass a lot of drama and angst by doing it.
i think in time tho, it doesn't become an issue. which is something GG lacks. but i love how elena and matt had been over for some time before caroline and matt were an option but they still took the time for caroline to warm up with the idea of getting with the ex of her best friend as well as feeling a bit insecure about it. i like how matt approached it as well. it adds more elements of realism to the story in a way that's understandable so i fully agree with you there.
as far as me in my personal life tho (idk if this question is to be related to or not) idk if i'd go for the ex of a friend. i did it like twice and the second time it really bothered me lmfao. but i put my friend first and if she was weirded out by it and angry and upset then clearly the relationship isn't worth having over the guilt i'd face. but that's just me. hoes before bros. is the motto.
as far as my exes and friends.. it's happened to me as well. can't say i enjoy it. but in my past can't be hypocritical about it. i guess i am one of the rare few who fully realizes it sucks both ways.
