She appears in the vampire diaries wikipedia....but you can never can trust the wikipedia so I don't know what to think...
It says that she may appear in 2x17 "Know the Enemy" which I doubt very much.... but I thought I would add this thread here, just in case anyone knows any spoilers about her....

I'm not sure how I feel about Nina playing multiple characters. two is great, adds a twist and shows off Nina's acting skills, but three?? I know we have to see the original doppelganger at some point but I was hoping it would be a flashback and not a tea party with all 3 Ninas there. maybe if Katherine dies at some point (hope it's MUCH later) it would be ok to bring the original doppelganger.

I think "Charlotte Petrova" was just a random name Julie Plec threw out there. She was suppose to be the first Petrova girl, but her name will probably be changed. Oh, and don't trust Wikipedia! I'm on there a lot and it is not to be trusted!
And I would prefer to see the first Petrova girl in a flashback instead of present-day Mystic Falls. Trust me, 3 is definitely a crowd.
I love this season's story arc! I hope it doesn't end this season. Hopefully, it'll go through season 3 too.

I doubt it too... in fact, I doubt the name as well... Charlotte Petrova is just so weird considering that Katherine is really Katerina Petrova and Charlotte might not be Bulgarian but then she wouldn't be named Petrova and I did some research and Charlotte is not a typical Bulgarian name like Katerina.

Maybe there was another doppelganger between the first Petrova and Katherine? It can't be the first Petrova girl because didn't she die to bind the curse and now they need another to unbind it?Posted 3/16/2011 12:33:51 AM #

Yes, the first Petrova girl did die so she cannot come back in present day Mystic Falls. Coming back in flash backs of the first sacrafice seems likely during the season finale "The Sacrafice". Also the first one was not a doppelganger, Katherine and Elena (and maybe others) are doppelgangers of her.

if she is the first petrova she must have died to bind the curse! but maybe she did die with vampire blood in her system and she turned after the sacrifice was done!

Her name could be Carlota Petrova...although Carlota is a more spanish name...
And I don't trust the wikipedia....but cause it was on there I just thought I'd make a thread and see if anyone else knows any spoilers about her...
What if she died to bind the curse but not all her blood was spilt and she had vampire blood in her system and then she turned into a vampire....Then Charlotte could be the first Petrova doppelganger....
Maybe her name's not Petrova....but they've just said Petrova to link her to Katherine....She could actually be Charlotte PIERCE and that's where Katherine got Pierce from...

I agree, she might not be a Petrova, but I'm pretty sure that she's not a Pierce (it's not impossible though), because Katherine probably just change it when she got to England.

I don't think that a Charlotte Petrova appears in the series... not in the 2nd season! They asked Nina once about a third character and she said: "Playing a third character would be wild! I feel up to just about anything now though." So I guess she's not appearing in 2x17 and that vampire in the promo is Katherine!
