How is Katherine about to die and the Guys haven't been turned yet? (In the Flashback) Were they supposed to be vampires already? And if so how would the compass not detect them? In episode 5 or whatever when Stefan had the flashback of the night he was turned it said that they had been at a dance. So I am guessing that was before the town went nuts. I don't get the time line it doesn't add up.

As Amy mentioned I can't either get a hold of the timeline, still an awesome episode (as always). Just speculating now but maybe the compass doesn't detect the brothers because they haven't died yet, guess we just have to wait and see.. :P
I really don't like cliffhangers like these it's almost like "The Turning Point" again with Elena in trouble/missing and of course Ben and Bonnie, hopefully I don't have to wait as long this time ;)
Overall a good episode where we got to see what really happened between the Salvatore brothers, Mystic Falls back in the day when they were more aware of the vampires and also Anna which i think has been an interesting new addition. Can't wait for next week :)

I didn't seen yet the children of damned, but it will be superr epizode and we will have answers for some question ...i think so..i can wait to watch what will happend furder.serial is greath the best that i seen for now..i have question where i can look episode on internet.? does someone now ?? pls ..answer...hehe

I LOVED IT! But do have the same question: when did they get turned? We must find out soon.

I am with you guys on this one, by the look of this episode durign this time they werent turned yet. I AM CONFUSE!!! BUT OVER ALL I ENJOYED THIS EPISODE ALOT.
AS FOR ANNA SHE PRETTY SMART SHE SEND OTHER PEOPLE TO DO HER DIRTY WORK I LIKE THAT.

i watched children of damned and it was prety awesome,it say that next epizode will be more betther and exciting yeah. i cant wait for that.enyway its the best serial that i ever seened.

I really enjoyed this episode. The flashbacks are awesome and so well done and I love seeing things from that era. I think Nina did a really good job of portraying Katherine, I was able to separate her from Elena. It was cool to see her be all sweet and innocent with Elena and all devious and seducing with Katherine. I loved getting to see the brothers as brothers and it was a cool change to see Damon all nervous and stuff. But at the same time the episode left me with questions, like what's the deal with Damon and his father? and will that be explained, I know they went into it a little about Damon leaving the army but it seemed like there was something else. Also, when does Katherine change them cause it looked like they were still human when she got taken away. And I want to know if Stefan felt bad for what he did, obeying his father and getting the Sheriff especially after he saw that Damon loved her or did he just go straight to hating him?... I though this episode was amazing cause it did what I love episodes do and thats to leave me with questions and wanting more.
Anyway just my thoughts, if anyone has any theories I'd love to hear them.

We all have questions that are about to be answered in the next few episodes...Some of my questions are:
what will happen to elena as we saw in the episode "children of the damned" that she was kidnapped by Anna? jeremy was the one who invited her in, so will the salvatore brothers have to kill her to protect elena and her family+house? what will happen to bonnie when she was kidnapped by ben?
if you see the previews for "fool me once" you will see that someone is on fire. in my opinion i think its ben..'cause bonnie is a witch and she can cause fire with her mind and shes in danger so she might use her power to protect herself from her kidnapper-ben. in some of this website's pictures you can see that caroline+matt appear in the forest with elena+damon.. what do you guys think about that?

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MARCH 25!!!!!!
Well anyways, i hope most of your questions have been answered because of fool me once and stuff
but, for all the people wondering how the brothers got turned, this is what i heard: So when katherine fed off stefan and damon, to make sure they didnt die, she gave them her blood...this only kept them alive..it didnt turn them...so the blood stays in their system for like 1-2-3 days...so the blood was still in both of their systems even after she was taken away
no to the part where they actually turn: well apparently in the books (which i have not read) people are saying that damon and stefan got into a sword fight because damon was furious that stefan got katherine locked up or whatever..and the both stabbed each other to "death"
But..... in the show they said that the night that the union soldiers fired on a church...they were both outside the church..and they were trying to get in to save the people inside..and the soldiers shot and "killed" them
