Damon and Liz
-
Do you all think that Damon didn't kill Liz Forbes cause he really thinks of her as a friend or because Elena was there and he knew he would hurt her and also hurt Caroline???
In my opinion, Damon really thinks of Liz as a friend, even though she's a vamp hunter and tried to kill him.....I really believe that Damon didn't kill her because he sees her as a real friend.... He said it himself "You're my friend" and he also cares about her...like when he asked her what was wrong and she lied and said she was upset about Caroline and then he went and spoke to Caroline......
What do you all think????

as much as he likes to pretend that he doesn't care if people hate him, Damon likes the fact that Liz sees him as a friend. I actually think that he values friendship a great deal. before falling SERIOUSLY in love with Elena, he considered her his friend and was hurt everytime that friendship was jeopardized. IMO he appreciates the fact that someone thinks of him of a trustworthy person. and as Rose said "he needs all the friends he can get"

Damon sees Liz as a friend if not his best friend and he would hate it if she knew the truth because that would be the end of their friendship, so Damon is very pleased that Caroline compelled her, I think.

I agree. I think Damon definitely sees a friend in Liz. In general his character doesn't find it difficult killing people regardless of the circumstances so I think that the fact he didn't kill Liz really means something.

when it comes to Damon, not killing you is like giving you flowers.
