Do you know on other sites, people claim the Originals should die because it takes away from DES? What a joke! As if we are being deprived of watching Elena play musical Salvatore every five minutes...
Lol, I think the Originals actually spice up DES, creating more entertainment for the "development" of that triangle ...if you can call it that. Thats actually one of the reason I wasn't interested in TVD when I firsl heard of it because it was so DES centered in all the promos.
Good point. At first I thought perhaps he was upset about her ruse, but several spoilers suggest he is more than aware of what she is doing. And she also made it clear during the ball as well. So the question is...what sets Klaus off?
I hope the next episode gets into it...otherwose lol, Klaus's feelings for Caroline were out of nowhere, and now it would be even more out of nowhere if Klaus now suddenly feels "deceived" by Caroline's motives, which were clear 5 episodes ago.
Btw, Zoe, I saw your post on the stelena thread, maybe you have seen it already while I was writing this but I just wanted to say that I am very grateful for you posting spoilers there and my comment only refered to the fact that TVD and the cast release so many statements and spoilers that sometimes it sounds all the same and I see no point in them saying so many times one thing, it wasn't directed at you posting information there, so please do not stop posting spoilers there.

I'm a bit worried about Forwood when I'm reading 3x21 synopsis. Apparently, Klaus has learned the truth about Caroline motives. If Elena wants to protect her, it's because of Klaus. I'm wondering why Stefan and Damon would ask for Tyler's help, if Tyler really loves Caroline, wouldn't he protect her by himself ?
Meh. I get an impression that Klaus is WORKING WITH THEM(who obviously is the "ancestor" of them all) in trying to protect stuff from those new villains and possibly everyone got temporarily human, hence needing protection. Plec twisting book plotlines and all.

Why is everyone assuming all this from the synopsis? The "resistance from a surprising new enemy" is likely to be some out of nowhere new villain rather than Caroline. I don't see a hint of Klaroline or Forwood implied in the synopsis. The closest thing I found was "Elena tries to protect Caroline,...." I know we have the spoilers that she will try to manipulate Klaus, and him showing up at the dance, but he did burn the drawings. Cizzi, Kol beating Damon with a baseball bat - will the cherry on top fpr that episode...oh how I wish he would do the same to Elena...
@Bella, kitsunes are sort of fox spirits that also appear in human form.
@Bored Now, speaking of malachs, now that I think about it, the whole story with the Gilbert ring making Alaric go crazy - is sort of JP's version of the malach making people do crazy stuff in the books.

Thats obvious actually. That fits to copy-paste template of using end-season flashabck episode to introduce next villain (Katherine had one with Blood Brothers, Klaus had one with Klaus, now its time for bugs)
What are kitsunes ?
its japanese for "Fox" they are bassically japanese god "demons/deities" with infinitely strong magical abilities, who go around assuming human form and causing mischief upon the world(or guarding it), the older a "kitsune" is the more tails it has in its fox form.
In the mythology they are immortal, incredibly smart and tricky magical beings and are classified into two "castes" - "zenko" working for the gods and "yako" mischevious demonic beings causing pain and suffering upon humanity.
The book kitsunes are tied strongly to Elena's bloodline. Shinichi and Misao, two kitsunes under command of Inari, the goddess from which Elena's bloodline descends, are sent to Fells Church(the Mystic Falls of the books) to cause havoc there.
They tried to turn Stefan human(but ended up temporarily turning Damon human, much to damon's disgust) as their first step of destroying Fell's church. Nevertheless, they went on witht their plans of unleashing "malachi" a strange demonic bugs taht corrupt and drive the hosts insane upon the townsfolk.
It all pretty much led to Elena skewering and pretty much dismembering Misao as the latter one begs for mercy.
