     I don't think there was anything special about it. She was thrust straight into drinking animal and as far as we know hadn't drunk any human blood except those measly droplets in episode 1. I think any new vamp would've upchucked on the icky blood.

     Julie Plec is a psuedonym Stephanie Meyer writes behind now. Apparantly this season is the proof of that. 

     S.Savage is....I don't know WHO that thing is but I do not want it in my tv shows as much as I do not want S.Meyer in my shows.
