^^I didn't call you bias, I actually really enjoy reading your posts. I meant that I'm only defending Bonnie because I am a huge Bonnie fan. It's obvious my arguments are weak but I'll still defend Bonnie on this one..

She basically blames the Salvatore brothers for her grams death. So I don't believe her actions are strictly to protect the people of the town. She can't be objective when she is trying to grieve.
i think she said that cause the 'animal' attacks nd all this other supernatural shiz didn't start happening until they came back to town. or maybe the fact that damon and stefan were both in the tomb and she begged her grams to redo the spell to get them both out (but let out the other vamps too). take your pick.
i can't say i blame her. she's still hurting and she's vengeful. it's not to me all that uncharacteristic for her to act the way she is.

The first thing I loved about TVD was the pilot where Elena and Bonnie drove to school together. I loved their friendship. Now they are on opposite sides. What is Elena suppose to do?

don't you just hate it when the writers whip up something totally awesome and it's something that could be understood and related to? i can't help but think of GG and realize how little they have that. in situations in that show you see such blantant right and wrong, bareable and unbareble.
i think elena is right to hold her ground but i also think bonnie should be the one to admit that she was wrong. either that or she becomes one big ass target and that would force her to admit that ten times quicker.
