John's letter was actually very nice
I liked John's Letter... I wouldn't expect anything less from a vampire hating person to want his only child to have kids but idk... The letter was nicePosted 9/2/2012 11:01:52 AM #
Klaus is apparantly a caring brother and Kol is "Playful murderous vampire" but nothing about sexism, lol.
Oh, yes Klays is such a caring brother. That's why he killed Rebekah when she chose Stefan over him, that's why he tricked and killed Elijah, that's why he kept most of them in coffins, that's why he decided that he wouldn't remove the stake from Rebekah when Elena told him that his sister knew now that he had killed their mother... because he cares so much! facepalm
Well, of course she thinks that Kol is just playful, he is just like Damon and she thinks that the things that Damon does are funny... but I thought that we were meant to see him as sexist... What about the slut shaming? What about the way he treated Meredith? :
Meredith: Why don’t you get lost, Kol?
Kol: And why would I do that? I like pretty little things with sharp tongues. (Kol walks towards Meredith and touches her face. She slaps his hand.)
Alaric: I’m pretty sure she told you to get lost.
Kol: I’m pretty sure I don’t care.Posted 9/2/2012 11:23:01 AM #
^He does care about his siblings, he just cares about himself more. If someone isn't on his side then he punishes them. He hesistated and cried while daggering Bekah again, you don't do that without caring.Posted 9/2/2012 1:15:55 PM #

You know what creeps me out?
An imagery of an abusive husband crying as he strangles his wife.
Sorry,that is not caring.Posted 9/2/2012 1:25:52 PM #

1st. Why abusive?
2nd. You compare actual death with "forced sleep", which is pretty much what it is.
A more sensible comparishment is to compare it with the episode of ATS where Angel and Lorne go to stop the guy who does the time mojo where he freezes time with his girlfriend. That is a fair comparishment.Posted 9/3/2012 11:26:50 AM #

and its no fucking difference. That guy was also a misogynist asshole who thought he owned that girl and did sick shit to "reaffirm" ownership. He got what he deserved.
And I am sorry, but whether the guy succeeds at killing his wife or does not, its equally disgusting and telling action that counts.Posted 9/3/2012 1:53:49 PM #
Ehm, no. He was not a misogynist. You really should look that word up, you constantly use it out of context. . . He is just pathetic, and can't handle lost. If he was gay, and he did the same thing, you wouldn't call him misandrist. . .Posted 9/3/2012 3:18:26 PM #

(sarcastic mode) Oh, poor him! He just wanted to make everyone be in a frozen state forever because his girlfriend wanted to leave him! He was just so misunderstood!
Sorry, but no. That was an horrible thing to do. Many (sane) people are dumped and they deal with in a normal way.
If he was gay, and he did the same thing, you wouldn't call him misandrist. . .No, he wouldn't be called a misogynist because the person he did that wouldn't be a woman but I would still consider his behaviour in the same way. For example, I hated what Willow did to Tara the whole make her forget their fights (and two times too! Even after she had promised that she wouldn't do it again! Even after Tara told her that it made her feel like a puppet in Willow's hands!). And I didn't want them to get together again. You really should look that word up Well, if you know that word better than Bored Now then why would you say that "if someone did X to a man you wouldn't call him a misogynist"? Here is the definition: Mysogyny: is the hatred or dislike of women or girls. According to feminist theory, misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including sexual, denigration of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification of women. I found also this: Misogynist: a person that hates, dislikes, mistruts, or mistreats women. Example Sentences:

- They squabble, and sometimes playfully paw each other, and he dismisses her opinions with a misogynist's contempt.

Misandrynism is the hatred of men. . .Posted 9/4/2012 10:53:09 AM #
