There is not a single bit to support it has anything to do with the gender of his partner. Same thing with Klaus. The only thing to suggest he does it because Rebekah is a woman(duh) is that J. Plec(as ferally discussed on this forum) is throwing sexistic messages all over the place. There is nothing in the show to actually suggest that it's because Rebekah is a woman that he stabs her, since he has stabbed all his brothers as well. He, as well, is just a pathetic looser who can't handle loss and being alone.

misandrinism is an excuse sexist people use in our society to try to justify their actions.
Sorry, but if you want gender-equality, first you have to get rid of current rape-culture-slut-shaming-and-sexism social norms.
As long as the priviledge stays with one race or gender, the "oppression" against the priviledged requires far less proof than against the actually oppressed.
"misandrinism" holds no account in the current society and requires far more proof 9 times out of ten its used to cover up misogyny and sexism.
