But Matt is the male Caroline (except more boring). Human, moral, compassionate. He would never like Rebekah, who's a downright bitch. Plus if Klaroline is creepy because of the age difference, Mabekah is too.

Nope. Matt is incredibly different from Caroline. He is human, but he is not morality-center He is more of a regular every-day flawed guy.

Lol I did say more boring. I'm just saying Matt is the all around nice guy who doesn't like to hurt anyone. Look at how guilty he felt when Elena "died" and not him. So it wouldn't make sense for him to like a murderous vampire like Rebekah if we are to say Klaroline is nonsensical. Matt liking Rebekah and vice versa is even crazier. And like I said, there's nothing he can offer her. He's weak, poor, average looking, boring, etc. Rebekah is a 1000 year old Origina who saw the world and probably is used to the finer things in life. Nope never gonna see Mabekah as realistic.

I mean I don't want to sound rude, but isn't that a little sexist if you're saying Matt has nothing to offer Rebekah? And that may be true, but who says the guy needs something to offer in order for that relationship to work? What about what Rebekah can offer? The fact that Rebekah has seen the world and "finer things" in life is probably why she's so easy to settle for an Average Joe. If Rebekah and Matt made sense, I would call them a Princess and Pauper pairing. And I couldn't make it any more clear that I like Klaroline, but you can't say Matt's morals won't work with Rebekah but go on to ship Caroline, who is chock full of morals, with Klaus. Even if you want to see her turn dark or just somehow make a crack, she is as moral and pure as Matt is, just not as boring.Posted 10/27/2012 4:15:28 AM #

Lol I know Klaroline doesn't make sense but I ship it cause of the chemistry. Mabekah have no chemistry IMO and they don't make sense. So there's no reason to ship them. Plus for some reason I can see Caroline being attracted to Klaus but Matt being the way he is falling for Rebekah is far fetched. And definitely unrealistic for Rebekah to take an interest in Matt. She just seems so high maintenance but if we are to believe she is deep and just wants to be loved, maybe it makes sense for her to like Matt.

I can see Caroline being attracted to Klaus but what I don't see is her pulling an Elena Gilbert and making out with him against a wall. Although, they say her judgement of Elena and Damon will backfire because of her "dangerous attraction."Posted 10/27/2012 5:19:25 AM #
