Also, why does Stevie call Katherine "Kathy"???? That's "Miss Katherine to you, wolf" haha Am I the only one that doesn't like them calling Katherine "Kathy"?

Oh how I hated it when he called my Katherine 'Kathy'. I mean wtf?! Katherine is neither of the following: Kathy, Kate, Katy. She is either Katherine, Katerina, or just Kat. am i the only one who was surprised when i found out that mason knew that katherine was a vampire? all this time i thought that she was pretending to be his girlfriend so she makes him kill somebody and become a werewolf so she could use him for the sacrifice.

@Stavroula no, you're not. when we saw the flash back of Mason triggering the curse and Kat walked in hugging him, I thought that she pretended to be human and later on I thought that he was compelled to be Katherine's lover so that he wouldn't mind the vamp thing.

Well Kathy, Kate, Katy etc. are all nicknames for Katherine, so why wouldn't they call her Kathy? She was their 'friend' (not!), so it's only natural to call her a nickname. Besides that, I think she kind of changed her identity in every city she ever lived in. Only when needing something, she would be Katherine or in this case, Kathy. Furthermore, not a lot of people are being called Katherine today, it's just Kat when people approach you or something else similar to Kat.

Ha - yeah, for some reason the name 'Katherine' is much more badass than any nicknames. My guess is that she told them her name was Kathy in an attempt to hide her identity, rather then them coming up with it on their own.

Of course Mason knew she was a vampire. He did hide the moon stone in a well full of vervain. As for being compelled, again he did hide it from her. She really did screw up that part of her plan A. She compells people to get themselves killed, so she can make werewolves but then doesn't control them. Not the smartest of moves.
