     A single Elena is a most welcome sight. We would want to see what she is capable of doing for herself without a support group to hand hold her. It's time they make her a stand alone character for a change,owning her life, her misatkes and her transformation into a vampire. Then her love for the Salvatores will come 2nd instead of making it the core business. Hope Plec and her minions have planned that.

     Also i kind of didn't get her reasoning,her feelings for Damon magnified after the transition and dissappeared for Stefan?

     Pfff, just add it that ridiculous list of plot holes....alongside vampire hearing and vampire strength abilities or the time line the show operating in now...whta year is it even on TVD right now

     @Liza, I just know everything in S3 took place in about 6 months since they are in their final year of school. So this probably means S4 is in a span of another 6 months.

     Yes 2010 or 2011 since Elena's parents are said to have died in 2009. Not sure if season 2 they were still in the same year as season 1.

     s2 was the same year as s1,i'm confused about s3 though,i mean i know excatly one year has passed but i don't know the exact date,they don't celeberate any major holidays in MF,its very hard to keep track lol

     Haha s3 takes place in their final year @ school. Elena,Steffie , Bonnie and Caroline. So I guess now it's 2nd semester. It's actually funny though that 150+ years vampires fall for a teenage girl and a 1000+ year old vampire/hybrid also does the same. And manage to get their brains screwed as well because of these teens. So are they gonna do something about Elena drinking from the vein or she'll keep playing snatch, feed erase till she becomes human again?

     Its just the reason I am asking is that Michael Collado briefly touched on this in one of his reviews, and it was just hillarious because he made it seem like the entire s3 took place withing a month. But I also think it has to be somewhere around 2010, since s3 started of with them being seniors and now that Elena is back at school they never said anything about a new school year starting, so I am guessing its the second semester or something...

     LOL, it also brings me to this thought that I now get everytime I see a post like "we have been waiting for three years for DE to happen, its our time!" - and when you actually think about it - in TVD's ridiculous timeline, SE only lasted like a year...
