    Oh I think Rebekah will attend prom this time around. And it's gonna be some emotional moment for her that she finally gets to prom.......and then she dies somehow. That's usually the tragedy in these type of things.

    Nah, she is least relevant character on entire show, those do not have plot armor. Once the character is run into the ground by this show, the writers can happily kill it because no one cares about that person anymore. 

    Watch them all forget this ever happened within two or three eps.
