    Come on, it's not going to last forever, so why not enjoy it?

    It's the same Stefan, just a little off the wagon, less Elena focused, and hotter.

    He didn't go insane or anything, so I don't know what some people were expecting. It's not like he had a microchip stuck in his head or lost his soul. He volunteered his services as a wingman to Klaus; he didn't get rabies. He didn't get possessed by a demon...

    Not sure what the official TVD lore is on his transformation into Ripper Stefan, but in my head i have it played out like alcoholism or something, (that he's like an angry drunk)

    Killing Andie was an evil thing to do, considering that it's Stefan who doesn't kill anyone... so we can give him points for that.

    The head rips were nice too...

    I mean, he is a vampire, after all. Some bloodshed has been expected since s01.

    It was probably overhyped... but you have to remember that "Ripper" on CW and "Ripper" on HBO are two completely different things. I don't think CW can air actual bodily ripping, can they?

    Well, there are no "Rippers" on HBO/True Blood because pretty much every vampire there is evil and violent. Except Bill Compton, of course ... And it'd be still awesome if he'd rip some girl apart. *Praying for that* :/

    I was using "Ripper" as a nickname for Eric way back when since he ripped the guy in half in the basement in front of Lafayette. I don't think CW can go that graphic.
