    Klaus isn't a wimp. He still shows moments of badassness (trying to kill Elena, threatening Bonnie, destroying Elena's home, etc.)

    he was great as klauslaric, decent badguy as klaus in S2 and a complete wimp since the first second of S3 where he started talking about wanting friends.

    In episode 3x21, Klaus was a badass for about a couple of seconds, nothing to write home about. For me, Klause only started to become a wimp mid season 3 and when he started to fall for Caroline, his character was dragged through the mud. The only thing making the character tolerable and somewhat enjoyable was JoMo's acting. If he were played by anyone else, the middle episodes would have been torture, those were the ones that really irked me.

    Connor wont be killed off! Plec will start fantasizing about him and will decide to keep him on board and have him fall for Caroline making the first love square between klaus, Tyler and connor. He was also be an artist and they'll have a painting contest to win her affection. Don't you just love this show!
