    In all fairness, EVERY fanbase has people who ship a couple for the wrong reasons. That is a fact. I am a delena shipper and it isn't because I feel Ian is hotter. I also have seen tons of other fans on many sites express legitimate, reasonable comments of why they also ship Elena and Damon.

    Without going into why I'm a delena shipper, because honestly I do not owe anyone here an explanation of why I prefer that couple, saying one ship is better than another is simply an opinion.

    Just an opinion.
