I know characters that get killed off usually get mixed opinions since they'll have fans, and others that didn't care for them
But like I really get mad when characters I like get killed off and of course that's how the show goes but
If: Tyler, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy and Alaric (which I have assumed to be main "friend" characters) get killed off I am not watching this show ever again
I was 100 percent sure that Jenna wouldn't die, then when she did I was just so full of rage
Also I don't want Elijah to die either cause he's unf
I pretty much believe that Katherine is never going to die but I can be wrong, but if she does then my jaw will fucking drop and I'll have my dog shit on the producer's front lawn

I like it better when a show kills off some characters to drive the plot forward rather than dragging all of them into like seasons of never-ending story.
Jenna's death is shocking. Yes. But it's a very awesome move to drive the plot forward.

Well the good thing about TVD is that altho there are like 5 billion deaths in every ep, most of the deaths are just extras/ guest stars, etc.
Im not too worried about the main/recurring cast dying cuz all of them (e.g. alaric, ty, car, bon, jer, etc.) all have so much potential that TVD could explore... Im sure the creators won't waste the opportunity by killing them off....

lol, this thread is pretty much pointless.
Even if someone dies in tvd.
NO ONE REALLY DIES IN TVD, to the point of annoyingness. There's always some stupid plot contrivance to avoid any sort of tragic death , hell even Vicki and anna's deaths got undone by the ghost crap and pretty much every cast member has died multiple times.
And most of who stay dead are generic forgettable extras with no importance nor fans(jonas family? who?) or horribly neglected characters thye nolonger know what to do with (Jenna) or characters WAAAY past their expiration date(John).
Even if during s2 I still feared for their lives, the bullshit with Jeremy's revival pretty much cemented the fact that one should not take death seriously in this show.
To sum up: this show kills off characters it SHOULD NOT always kill off and through ridiculous means makes characters whose deth would have an emotional impact SURVIVE THE DAMN DEATHS.
if anything, death in tvd makes one laugh more so than cry or feel sad or fear.
I wish show ended someone like Alaric, tyler, caroline,bonnie or someone PERMANENTLY and let Steff do it in s3, but i horribly doubt htat happens EVER. NO ONE DIES IN TVD.

That's not a good thing. It's a stupid ass retardet thing. Death is cheapend to the point where it is not surprising anymore.

I could be cool if there were a way to work around the witch thing. Bonnie is there for one thing and that is to solve plots using her spells. It's ridiculess. But they simply need to have a witch on their side. She is boring and have no character other than being an immense hipocrite in times where it dosen't make sense.

I agree. The show probably will get more recognitions if it does this. Having Stefan killed someone in the circle will definitely drive the plot forward.Posted 9/11/2011 9:53:10 AM # -
