    By your logic people should only criticize Twilight AFTER having read it all? LOL.

     

    Just because I do not watch the show, does not mean that I should stop criticizing its "writing" decisions and narrative.  A lot of people here barelly pay attention to the show itself and just fast-forward to the stuff that interests them in it :)

    I felt like I missed an episode of TVD watching this second episode because the way Connor just waltzed in and started being so damn proactive made me think WOW HOLD ON TVD, who the hell is this guy?

    ^ meh, that's just TVD for you.  IF the show could change motivations of steffie within 5 last episodes of S2, for no reason at all just to create moar "love triangle angst" and if all characters change their personalities and behavior every episode to fit the plot, its not suprrising they just throw shit at the screen.

     

    And, meh, its not like he matters - its obvious no one of the main cast will EVER die.

    Although Plec creates a fictional world where minorities are practically extinct, I'm curious why you feel Connor is related to Bonnie...

    Like usual, it was a missed opportunity. They have the inability to--as one writer described--exploit contrasts in characterization. The writing was sloppy and insignificant since Plec obviously spends a tremendous amount of time focusing more on fangirl fantasies instead of details.

    Connor is probably supernatural since Jeremy saw the tatoo. What I'm gathering is that this show is now trying to make vamp hunters spn/immortal. It started with Ric, (but if you want to count Mikael, sure) then it starts with probably Connor, and I don't doubt Alexander. But I don't know, because Jeremy has the same tatoo on those awful promo pics with the Latin crap.
