    Season 3 was a disappointment in a lot of points... so I can only hope that season 4 is getting better and that they really would make Elena's character as a vampire better! What I kind of missed in the last season were the surprising endings that season 1 and 2 had... hopefully they're more twists and turns in S4!

    Thats what demolished S3. Writers kept pushing all the twists in forced manner to the point that it all beacme so predictable and defied the very basics of logic (Alaric as original? Evil Bonnie?  becky's possession? bloodlines? TylerKlaus? Gimme a fucking break). 

    Them just throwing those retarded twists destroyed whatever integrity the show still had. They have not had a decent plot twist since Masquerade (Klauslaric was decent, but a retcon of it destroyed it)

    Triangle. Elena, bad writing, forced SE, forced DE, forced twists and nonsensical storytelling with everyone acting illogically and OOC is what killed this show.
