Sorry, not seeing that.

nope, as far as writing goes having a thousand year old "most powerful vampire in history who is now an unbeatable unkillable immortal hybrid" be overpowered by two newbies because Bonnie wished a hear-ache on him is quite a big plothole.

I expected him to throw around, wail a bit, throw them to the walls and then fall down, but him being overpowered, weaker or not IS a plothole, because Elijah only had the chance to overpower him durinfg the whole sacrifice ritual time and even then he had some problems and we are talkinga bout Elijah, who makes the earth crack by stomping his feet.

So nope, not buying it.

They needed friggin Elijah to kill WEAKENED BY SACRIFICE NORMAL  Klaus.

Yet steffie and tyler, two people whom elijah would be able to turn into mashed potatoes, are able to apprehend and overpower hybrid Klaus in arguably less effective spell?

See where I am going with this?

If you are right then the whole sacrifice plotline was a huge inconsistent plothole since they did not need Elijah and Steffie and Damon would be enough

If you are wrong then the Bonnie's lame heart-spell was a huge inconsistent plothole since no way in hell would Tyler and Steffie overpower weakened Klaus if they needed Elijah to overpower supposedly WEAKER NORMAL ORIGINAL Klaus.

Amie

Personally, the entire s3 is a huge plot-hole for me, I am still confused as to how half the season it was all about hybrids, then it was all about the Original mama witch, and then somehow we ended up with Alaric having an alter ego all this time...anyway,

1. Vampire hearing seems to be a huge plot-hole since like you said Stefan could hear Elena and Damon argue in the seocnd ep of s3, yet Damon and Stefan, could not hear Alaric calling Elena and her sneaking out (did she walk to the school?!) and were both total losers when they were astonished to find out Elena left the house...in which they both were in....ok.........

2. Vampire speed - ok, so they can GTFO out of any situation basically, yet for some reason Caroline RAN to her car AND  began looking for the right key before Ric came out and broke her neck.....so again, what?

3. Rebekah kisses Stefan and she knows he is lying, yet kissing Damon - she doesn't sense anything and gets used like a hard drive.....so again, what?

Ugh I hate hated Rebekah getting fooled like nothing from Damon.

Yeash, i get it, Klaus fangirls will ignore any plotholes connected to their little hero. Your problem, not mine. Plothole is a plothole.

Its not like it happened the first time:

Katherine being overpowered by Damon and Steffie. Caroline throwing Damon. Caroline overpowering Damon when he attacked her plot-device-dad-i-do-not-remember. Damon somewhat "struggling with that hybrid-zombie and then FUCKING JEREMY KILLING HYBRIDS.

The only case that can be explained is her versus ghosts since they were ghosts.

Anyway

Vampire hearing seems to be a huge plot-hole since like you said Stefan could hear Elena and Damon argue in the seocnd ep of s3, yet Damon and Stefan, could not hear Alaric calling Elena and her sneaking out (did she walk to the school?!) and were both total losers when they were astonished to find out Elena left the house...in which they both were in....ok.........

This littearlly fucking happened every episode and show only remembered it when Esther wanted to talk with elena, STILL ignoring it in the same episode in other scenes, as well as after it.

Vampire speed - ok, so they can GTFO out of any situation basically, yet for some reason Caroline RAN to her car AND began looking for the right key before Ric came out and broke her neck.....so again, what?

Well so far they only seem to be able to do the budget-saving superpower for short bursts only, but yeah, in this exact case she could have easily gtfo's away.

And I guess we are supposed to believe that vampire speed does not work under water in the poolriver

Honestly writers most likely went:

"Okay, how do we save budget on this show so we can cast more recurring characters? Let's make all fights sped up so we don't have to pay for stunt-men and choreography as well as complex fx"

"Okay character A needs to learn about the plot Characters B and C have againt him. What do we do? Oh I know let's add super-hearing! Gee we are so smart!"

So the show conveniently ignores it all till it needs it. Let's be frank the show can't even decide whether vampire hearts beat or not, they do not seem to have any sort of real rules and just make up shit going along, hoping no one notices the inconsistencies in vampire powers, same with magic.

becky case though does not surprise me, she has always been portrayed as dumb, shallow and vain(since hey, sexism), so I guess she ignored all the warning signs for comfort.

If only it were a problem, because I'm sure all of his fangirls here are well aware of the character assassination. You've been in this forum (ironically) long enough to know that. Yeah, I get it, we're ignoring your repetitive posts. Your problem, not ours :|
