   It's been a long wait for fans of The Walking Dead, but the living dead are almost ready to return to AMC's Sunday nights. Only a week and half remains before the third season returns, with Rick and the group heading for the 'safety' of the prison. Well, not all of the survivors are headed for the scary concrete enclosure, Andrea is away from the rest of the pack trying to survive the woods with newcomer Michonne. 

    

   

    

   Watch The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 1 'Premiere' - Seeds:    With the season 3 premiere of AMC’s hit post-apocalyptic drama The Walking Dead now less than a month away, the network has unleashed a set of fresh character images to quell impatient fans’ zombie fever. The gloomy new pictures get up close and personal with some of the highly-anticipated new and returning characters – including the katana-wielding Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Daryl Dixon’s long-lost racist amputee brother, Merle (Michael Rooker).
