   and not having that many bring-back-to-life plot devices.

    

   and not bending reality in stupid ways like carol's HUGE fall from stairs only breaking her arm...

    Even P.Petterson kept refering multiple times on how after that fall she walked out of hospital pretty much next episode, lol. Talk about fail on writers part.
