Would you ship Klaus/Caroline if Klaus wasn't evil?

Did you hear? Klaus is actually in love with Abby Bennett. There are pictures and everything. The whole "in love with Caroline" thing is just a ruse.
Lol I'm not joking. Klaus loves Abby Bennett. It's cool. At least it's not Sheriff Forbes or Mayor Lockwood.

I'm gonna have to agree with Bored Now here. I can't ship Klaroline. Not ever. Not even if he wasn't evil, because wouldn't that sort of eliminate the whole purpose of his character? He's(supposed to be) a villain to us because at first he wanted to sacrifice Elena and then he wanted a steady supply of her blood. He wanted to break the curse and make hybrids because he was so sick of being alone, and the reason he's so afraid of loneliness and rejection is because he has massive parental issues. In a nutshell, he's a villain because of his childood. It's what made him. Therefore, Klaus 'not being evil' would undo his whole character(even if he's not particularly evil, just violent). And I don't think he's about to 'get better' or 'good' either, because he's had 1000 years to get over himself and he hasn't.
Back to Klaroline... like I said, I just can't ship it. Caroline is a bright, good person. She was that way when she was human, and when she became a vampire this was only strengthened. And yes, she has a bloodthirst and enjoys killing, but remember, she's a control-freak. She won't let herself give in. But if she did, if she 'went dark', it would just be a rerun of the beginning of season 2, when she lost control and killed a guy. Remember that episode? She was filled with self-disgust and guilt, but she got past it, she got stronger. So why should a new loss of control suddenly make her an emo serial killer? It would be going against everything she stands for.
Perhaps if Tyler was to die, we could get to see her depressed and devastated - but she would still have her friends. She would eventually be herself again. And no, I don't think Tyler's potential death would be 'Klaus' time to shine', because there's no way Caroline would fall for that. Also, what kind of a man takes advantage of a lady in mourning? Again, I just don't see them as a couple.
That being said, I don't really ship Forwood either. Not anymore. I started losing interest from the moment the siring thing started, and then in Our Town I started shipping it again - and then he bit her, and then he was gone. By the time he returned, whatever small spark of Forwood I had left was gone. Now I'm just waiting around for Caroline to get an interesting storyline, one that doesn't involve a Klaus!Tyler mindf*ck.

Gosh it seems like everyone on TVD is dating each other!!! Ian/Nina, Paul/Torrey, Candice/Zach, now JoMo/Persia. But I also read that in Hollywood the film bosses sometimes usually ask film stars starring together whether in movies or series to fake date in public so they can get they get publicity for their films/series and probably for the ratings. May be their chemistry is undeniable but i still like Tyler and Caroline.I think Mikeal has alot to do with Klaus being evil i know he is a werewolf so aggression and violence is in his gene but still mikeal plays a role in it and i'm not saying that justifies Klaus's actions coz it doesn't.Posted 6/15/2012 10:22:03 AM #

The thing is I don't see Klaus as evil, because if he were trully evil Mystic Falls would be wiped out by now...soooo about shipping Klaroline, I just like their interactions but as a romantic couple - no...Caroline may enjoy the trips around the world with an English tour guide but getting involved with a tortured and unrecognized artist never ends well, plus they find muses all the time and I don't think Caroline would be into that stuff.
