Would you ship Klaus/Caroline if Klaus wasn't evil?

I actually have an idea for next season. Say Klaroline doesn't work out (which it most likely won't) then a hot new bad ass character can be introduced into the show. He comes to town to take revenge on all the residents because the founders did his family wrong hundred of years ago. He kidnaps Caroline and forces her to embrace her vampire side like go on a killing rampage and bleed people dry. There will be tons of sexual tension and eye fucking. He will eventually go away/die but Caroline will still retain parts of her bad side. She dumps Tyler because he's too wimpy now that she's Queen vamp. Kol or Elijah (Maybe Stefan) becomes attracted to her due to her new found confidence and sexy/badass side. End game: She leaves Mystic Falls with all three men and they run into Klaus. Party.

  5. It's time Caroline grows up and embrace her vampire side.

She already did that. Thats why she is the opposite of Steffie, Damon and all the wimps. She incorporated and embraced who she is and being a vampire helped her to combat her complexes. She remained cheerful and nice and interesting and flawed girl.

She's my favorite female character but her teeny bopper attitude is getting quite annoying.

She is a queen bee overachiever control freak with inferiority complex. Thats who she always was, thats what is her baseline and thats from where her character growth stems. She is not some dark selfish person.

We have seen a constant and sensible growth of her character as she overcomes her complexes ever since the start of season one and going into direction you seem to think she should go, would go against her character archetype and everything that is in her character development.

I'm waiting for the day she becomes bad ass and start dressing in black, like a female Damon.

    I am sorry, wat?

You DO realize that that would be character assassination? Damon is a mysogynistic rapist.  Caroline is as opposite of Damon as opposites can be.

Sure she is straightforward control freak and neurotic in her nature, but her whole idea of character is growing and overcoming her flaws. She has no selflishness in her nature and she is not malicious by definition, unlike 99% of the cast.

  8.  then a hot new bad ass character can be introduced into the show.

yes because that totally worked last 30 times this show tried that approach.

He kidnaps Caroline and forces her to embrace her vampire side like go on a killing rampage and bleed people dry.

And what would be the point of that, apart from it being the opposite of her nature and her character development?

She is not Steffie or Damon.

She dumps Tyler because he's too wimpy now

I am sorry, but Tyler is the least wimpy male of the entire show, when compared to the likes of Damon or Klaus.

Kol or Elijah (Maybe Stefan) becomes attracted to her due to her new found confidence and sexy/badass side. End game: She leaves Mystic Falls with all three men and they run into Klaus. Party.

And now we venture into mary sue writing territory. Sorry, no.

  9. The very nature of Caroline's turning is all about amplification of her control-freak nature. She is in control of everything that is herself. There's no possible reason for her to go "out of control" because that would deny all the character development of first two seasons where we have seen her go from "out of control" into self-confident and interesting independent woman.

The nature of her character makes sure that she won't be a "traditional emo vampire". she is pretty much human with vampire powers. thats her nature. Sure she is trying to balance her supernatural side and her human life and the idea of immortality, but by the very nature she is the most human character in the show.

She is not Damon. She is not Vickie(or whatever she was called). She is not Katherine.

Caroline is  queen bee of the school but she is essentially very selfless neurotic girl who genuinely likes her friends and wants to be in control of her life.

Turning her into ugly emo mess like steffie or damon would completely destroy the point of her character.

Thats why that idea or even idea of klaus/caroline goes against the very idea of her character. its just not something someone like her would do as it goes against everything that is established about her.

Expecting such plotlines for her is like expecting Elena to be relevant and interesting - utterly ridiculous.

  10. If this show was in any way good(which its not), Elena would have had her book personality and her turning would be used to be as anti-thesis of Caroline's, setting up vamp-elena and vamp-caroline as each other's FOIL, with Elena being off-the-rails destructive and Caroline being completely in control and confident of who she is.

You would bassically have elena going all Teen Wolf's Erica  Reyes while clashing with more grounded and in control Caroline.  through their interactions resolution would be found as both of them learn something from their interactions and Elena becomes more stable character.

Of course since Elena has no character at all and is bassically Bella Swan, such plotline is impossible...Also its way too late, because such plot would require people to care about miss cardboard's character journey.
