Kate Perry leads the nominations with 7 nominations but the sad part is that she will not be attending the People’s Choice Awards online and has refused the invitation due to personal issues.
Harry Potter Movie received 9 nominations including one for Best movie and Tv Series Glee received seven nominations.

It is time for first big awards of year 2012 to come to silver screen. Yes, it is going to be 38th annual People’s Choice Awards Live Stream.People’s Choice Awards live are annually held in the month of January and honor the best in popular culture.
The People's Choice Awards 2012 edition will be presented on Wednesday, January 11th, on CBS. The 38th edition of the awards show will honor achievements in the fields of music, movies, and television. Kaley Cuoco of "Big Bang Theory" will be the show's host, with Faith Hill and Demi Lovato providing musical performances.
Among the TV shows up for awards this year will be popular series "The Vampire Diaries." The show is set in a fictional town located in Virginia. It's star actors, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, are each up for separate acting awards as well.

Platinum-selling recording artist Demi Lovato will perform during the live broadcast of PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 from the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live, Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. “Demi is a brilliant performer, a strong role model and a true fan favorite,” said Executive Producer Mark Burnett. “We’re thrilled to have her on board for the “People’s Choice Awards” and look forward to a truly electrifying performance.” A three-time People’s Choice Award winner, most recently Lovato was awarded Favorite Breakout Artist in 2009 and is currently nominated for Favorite Pop Artist at PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012. Lovato joins previously announced performer Faith Hill.
