I think that CV are not that good for each other because they don't, and, let's face it, will never really have the same passion CB has for each other. Think about it, If C and V hook up, it'll be all about how C will change for V, and they will have cutesy scenes together, like how NV is. And do we really want C to turn into someone he's not, let alone N. Whereas with B, he is totally 100% himself, and B would never want him to change into cutesy over passionate..but that's just my op:D
