gabriel isnt spanish, his parents just own a house there ... he is from the south, and is like really rich because his family made a lot of money frm tobacco farms ... thats why the title of the episode is "southern gentlement prefer blondes" .. which makes me think that after w.e. drama there is with poppy/gabriel/serena, gabriel will pick serena (the last bit iis just a guess)
