ugly ass dress. but it so OBVIOUSLY does not fit that i'm sure it cant be hers. i mean look at how well all their scrubs fit on this show, they cant possibly have made such a big tailoring mistake on something as important as this!
i agree, probably izzie's since it looks like it would really accentuate her curves. and glitter glue-taffeta-sparkle-poofy dresses are more izzie's style (case and point, that pink dress she wore when denny died!)

I love the top of this dress on her but hate the bottem. I think the way it puffs out makes the dress look bad. But the top looks grat

Mer's face and hair looks amazing,but the dress looks horrible on her. She doesn't fill it out and it doesn't suit her style or her body at all. She looks ridiculous.

user "meredith grey" makes a point maybe it isnt her dress. But maybe it is her dress, because in the synopsis for sweet surrender it says izzy is helped plan merder wedding, so maybe izzy put up all the pics and meredith is showing her the dress. I agree, the dress is a little too big on her the flowy skirt part should start higher up, but I think her hair/makeup looks amazingg and that if it is her wedding dresss she'll pull it off. xxx

horrible dress she looks gorgeous but if the dress was cut on her waist line instead of all the way down it would have looked better, and give her some curves.

Wayyyyy to flowey for Meredith. I agree with a simpler white dress. Probably one that doesn't involve a lot of fabric. Maybe a few sparkles but not so much. Meredith isn't exactly a bright and ahiny sort of person after all.

The rule of thumb with TV Shows is:
If you see the dress before the wedding, it's not THE dress, or the wedding's not going to happen.
For example:
Friends (Monica), Scrubs (Carla), Ugly Betty (Hilda)
TV shows like having the whole Wow-factor that comes with seeing the dress for the first time. This is definitely NOT the dress Mer will get married in, because they wouldn't show it in either a screenshot or an episode before the wedding!

The dress would look gorgeous if the corset stopped at the waist not the hips, and if it was a tighter fit. She does look gorgeous though.
Because of all the pictures in a patients room I think it's Izzie planning the wedding and maybe this is just a sample dress.
I don't think the wedding will happen next episode, it's too soon. They may have a dream sequence of weddings instead.

Of course she's not getting married in THAT dress.
Why would they show us the dress? That's what we want to know now (at least I do) And they never let us know what we want to know before the actual episode.
And I'm sure they will pick a dress that actually fits.
Maybe she's just trying dresses in Izzies room, because she loves this stuff.

This dress is pretty but it doesn't suit Mer very well! it kind of reminds me of Cristinas dress! its so weird remember in season 3 Cristina was trying on dresses with the girls and now its Mers turn! lets just hope the marriage actually happens in this one though! I'm sure it will though!

no this is MEREDITHS DRESS SHESSSS GETTING MARRIED NOT IZZIE! izzies dress would be more like her prom dress but white or more like carrie bradshaws dress in sex and the city the movie. merder needs there wedding before AI. merder first AI next season :)

I really do love that dress...with some alterations. It would look great on me :P Not so much Meredith. It's probably Izzie's, seeing as it would look great on somebody taller with more of a true hour glass figure.

i kinda have to agree with the people saying that maybe the dress is meant for izzie, and the wedding will on may 7th will be izzie and alex. :)
but mer and derek have to get married soon or else i think i might die from impatience
