I think it is high time for Violet to be truthful about the father of her baby. The men deserve to know the truth. For her to keep everyone in the dark, and place this control over them is inconsiderate and robbing the men of the precious experience of sharing the pregnancy. Everyone that Violet holds dear should be involved and share in the joyful event. The men look pitiful waiting... wondering, feeling left out and helpless. Either of them would make good fathers, however, my wish is that Pete will be the father. He is a lonely man and needs the comfort of a child and the support of a loving wife. I definately think the child should have parents who are married and ready to take on the responsibility of raising their child in a family atmosphere. Too many unmarried couples having babies without the sacrement of marriage which sets a poor example for those watching. And Pete would never not offer marriage. He is such a good guy.
