While his dad talks up the big wigs at his party, Colt has other plans for the evening. Here we see him swiping a bottle of alcohol from the bar, but who does he intend to drink it with? Maddie, perhaps? Those two are on a dangerous path. First sex, now alcohol. What's next? Drugs and rock and roll?
Now that Jeff has swayed investors and advertisers to his side, he can launch his Luke Wheeler lifestyle brand, and become an even bigger star than before. But will he and his sexy image consultant, Gabrielle, see sparks fly between them in the meantime? We're guessing yes!
As bad as these two are for each other, Jeff and Layla do seem to genuinely care for one another. Unfortunately, Jeff just can't seem to stop screwing her over in favor of his own aspirations. We wonder if he'll be so comfortable with all the PDA now that he knows it's the one thing keeping him from that coveted CEO job?
Uh oh. One of the biggest reasons Luke took Jeff's name off of his potential CEO list was because he was afraid Jeff couldn't keep things professional and above board. We guess he remembered how Jeff treated Rayna and Juliette? Now that he's invited Layla to the party, Luke might not see that as a great show of professional boundaries.
Luke's lifestyle brand is all set to launch with the help of his image consultant, Gabrielle. Jeff has been angling for the job of CEO, but he's got to schmooze Luke if he wants the job. From the looks of things, he might be on the right track if he can just convince Luke that he can keep things professional.
Juliette and alcohol have never been a great mix, even less so when she's mixing it with pills, injections, and her battle with post-partum depression. She hasn't exactly been making great choices this season, but let's just hope that she finally makes a good one to step back from that ledge!
This week's episode of Nashville is sure to be a nail-biter, as Juliette's life is left hanging in the balance. Literally. After getting that divorce ultimatum from Avery just as her post-partum haze was beginning to wear off, Juliette is faced with losing everything. Something tells us she's not dealing with that very well.
As dramatic as it would have been to see Deacon hold a grudge against his niece for weeks and weeks, we're glad that these two appear to be sorting things out and reconciling sooner rather than later. Grief is not something you should go through alone, and these two song writers definitely need each other.
Scarlett and Deacon really need to sit down and have a talk about the why's and how's of Beverly's death, and it looks like they're finally going to get to do that in "Stop the World and Let Me Off." Deacon needs all the support he can get at this point, and so does Scarlett.
Scarlett, too, sorts through her memories of Beverly as she sorts through her house. We imagine that Scarlett's childhood home holds quite a few bad memories of Beverly along with the good ones, as she struggled with her mental health. Stay strong, Scarlett!
Well, she's not back in the way you think. While he goes through her things, it seems like Deacon might be remembering his big sister more and more. Hopefully he can remember the parts of her that wouldn't have wanted to live on a ventilator for the rest of her life, so he can finally forgive Scarlett.
