After darn near losing her for good, Patrick Jane finally found the courage to tell Teresa Lisbon he loved. her. They finally shared their first real kiss in The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 22, "Blue Bird" as Jisbon shippers everywhere swooned.
In The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 10, "Green Thumb" Lisbon finally told Jane off for taking her for granted and not consulting her before demanding she work for the FBI. It was the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.
It was an embrace two years in the making on The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 9, "My Blue Heaven" and Jane's smile shone as bright as we've ever seen as he walked into the FBI and found Teresa Lisbon waiting for him.
Standing on the beach with the setting sun during The Mentalist Season 6 Episode 6, Jane pulls Lisbon into a hug and tells her, "You have no idea what you've meant to me. What you mean to me." Then he lifts her phone and takes the car to go confront his Red John suspects. It was wonderful and heartbreaking all at once.
After their plan to capture Red John goes horribly wrong leading to the gruesome death of CBI Director Wainwright on The Mentalist season 4 finale, Teresa asks Jane if he's OK. He tells her he's fine and then he takes her hand in his as the two deal with the latest of Red John's horrors.
On The Mentalist Season 4 Episode 24, "The Crimson Hat" just before Jane must pretend to kill Lisbon, he hugs her tightly and says he loves her. He later claims not to remember what he said due to the extreme stress.
In The Mentalist Season 2 Episode 11, "Rose Colored Glasses" after solving the case, Jane and Lisbon share a dance to the song "More Than Words. Lisbon certainly looks comfortable in Jane's arms.
In The Mentalist Season 1 Episode 23, "Red John's Footsteps" after declaring that he'd willingly die if it meant capturing Red John, Jane ends up shooting and killing the one man he knows could lead him to the serial killer in order to save Lisbon's life. Even Jane looks completely shocked by his actions.
Teresa leaving for D.C. was bad enough. Did Jane somehow make things worse? Will he finally man up and doing something to stop her before she marries another man?
