Elena won't be picking Damon. Her guilt & hope of getting her old Stefan back will help her choose him. What leads me to believe this is reading Julie Plec's interview, one thing that is up is Damon's having a new drinking partner, Meredith, who may be sticking around past season 3 for bar time & more? Hopefully not the more!!! Rebekah will have a new ally, that will stick by her side, Plec being coy stated about the May 10 finale, a possible indicator of more to come on that end. And we have seen that picture w/Damon & Rebekah. Plus Ian said he's going to be getting a beat down in the last seconds of the finale. Probably protecting the blonde original. Haven't seen any pics showing Damon & Elena. If he was chosen, wouldn't he be w/Elena? Ok all of us Delena fans, time to get our hankies out for a good cry!!!

Hey guys,
I will start off by saying that I'm a Stelena fan. Not a rabid Stelena fan (it's just a show peeps), but still one. That being said.....I am pretty darn sure that Elena is going to choose Damon.
I don't really want it to be because I think that Stefan leaving again will be silly. She's either going to choose neither brother, or Damon. I just think that that's the way things are going because they have been showing a lot of Stefan and Elena togetherness and so they think they can 'surprise' us....so they will have her choose Damon.
But I think there will be a twist....like Stefan doesn't leave town....or Elena makes the choice but Damon never knows...or she makes the choice and gets 'turned'.
Personally I would like her to choose neither brother. I think that each of them deserves better than that.
I'm just happy Elijah is returning. PLEASE don't kill him!!!

Please not Stelena again. I like Stefan, and I like Elena (well, at least sometimes ;-) but I want to see something new. What is so epic about Stelena? Elena sharing longing and passionate looks with Damon? Elena kissing Damon? If Stefan would really be her epic love she never would have looked at Damon in the fist place.

I am so Team Stelena but i think they could be teasing us. Maybe Stefan is telling Elena he will be leaving in order not to burden her with the option to choose. Cos stefan is self sacrificial like that...he ALWAYS put Elena's feelings above himself and he knows shes in pain and he will do everything to protect her
