Good GOD, you can tell by all the "so called african american" who respond just by your actions. You all blame Knight for Washingtons words. Get over it. Face it, Washington screwed up, loyally and literally. You all have Jesse Jackson over it if Knight had said it. YES YOU WOULD. Dont you all have some 3 week re-runs of Michael Jackson to watch??????

TR will be missed by me and all his followers. His character was great. As for his departure, the fact that he was seen less and less in the episodes must have been a huge factor. He was an integral part of the show. What was that all about? With regards to Washington, just who did he think he was and whatever in the world was he thinking to have made such overt, open commentaries relating to his demeaning description of TR's lifestyle? Do People In The Show Business industry think they are exempt from courtesy? Compassion? Decor? Botton line: who care what a persons sexual prefenence is? It is SUCH a benign part of a persons' character. Let people be themselves, provided they are good decent honorable people. Isn't that was the human race is supposed to strive for? Tolerance. A virtue worth moving toward.

Please gay guys just have to hide who they are? They shouldn't. Gay people get killed for saying who they are in some places. In some countries, they have the death penalty for it, so yes homophobia is just as abd as racist.

I'm African-American, but sometimes I'm ashamed of being one when I see so much homophobia there. We are not the only one to have lived through discrimination, and haaving been a victim of it, we should be more sensitive to the pain of the other victims of homophobia.

Nigger and fag are just as offensive for me. Isiah would have been fired anyway just for attacking Patrick Dempsey. Physical assault is ground for termination.

You go TR. You're a wodnerful actor, and I will always love you.

LISTEN EVERYBODY, I'M A BLACK PROUD MAN, AND I LOVE GREY'S, BUT WITH THAT SAID, ISAIAH WASHINGTON WAS MY FAVORITE DOCTOR ON THE SHOW, BUT HE SHOULD'VE KNEW BETTER TO SAY THAT KNOWING THAT THERE WERE GOING TO BE PROBLEMS! I AGREE IF KNIGHT WOULD'VE CALLED HIM THE "N" WORDS HE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE STILL KEPT HIS JOB, BUT IN THE IN THE SHOW WAS NEVER THE SAME WHEN WASHINGTON LEFT, HE BASICALLY WAS THE SHOW, WITH HIS ROLE, HE WAS THE BEST DOCTOR IN THE HOSPITAL, AND WHO THEY GET TO REPLACE HIM, A NUT JOB THAT WAKES UP STRANGLEIN WOMEN! YEAH THAT WAS BRIGHT! I JUST HOPE THEY FIND A WAY TO BRING HIM BACK BECAUSE IT DON'T MATTER BLACK OR WHITE, THE SHOW WILL GET MORE VIEWS IF THEY BRING WASHINGTON BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it that if a black person gets fired by a White person it's considered racist motive, WFT......I am so sick of black people always saying it's because he was black that's why that happened....Does it matter that he might have been a big time asshole that thinks his shit don't smell, Because 9 times out of 10 people get fired because of there doing not any1 else....So wake up and stop assuming every time a black person gets fired it's because of race, comments like that make you sound like a uneducated simple minded peon....

I am a gay African American senior. I was sorry to see Washington fired after he apologized, but I absolutely agree that if Knight had called him "nigger" (forget all that "N-word" crap!), he would've been killed off in the middle of the season, apology or not. Knight did NOT hurt or kill Washington's career; if it was, indeed, hurt it was because of Washington's words, not Knight. Knight was just being himself. Frankly, I am sick and tired of the homophobia in the black community.

To LCSays - This is why the world is the way it is. In today's world, there is reverse discrimination. I'm so sick and tired of everything having to be about race. It is NOT. Remember, there are other nationalities and sexualities out there. What Washington said was dead wrong, and he deserved to be fired, just as the african americans (with sharpton leading the pack) would have called for the firing of a white person if they used the N word - As I recall, they did do that to Don Imus and got him fired and he apologized to everyone so your theory is flawed. As Americans there are other minority groups who never complain - look at the poor American Indian and the hispanics. But no one makes a stink about how everyone else gets the jobs. The Sotomayor case was a classic example of reverse discrimination. In school, the kids have to learn about black culture year after year, and now kids are getting tired of it, since the schools are so racially sensitive they over cover the topics.
