why would anyone really watch grey's anatomy widout mer n mcdreamy???arnt they the heart n soul of the show?wats there to watch if u cant see mcdreamy trying to get things ryte wid mer?

I could not watch grey's without they are the reason why grey's exits and alhough i love mark and lexie very much they are not enough for me to wacth the tv show i free up with without it's tío main harcateras

it's GREY'S anatomy, n if there's no McDreamy there might as well be no Meredith. :( so what's the point? yes, there's an awesome ensemble cast n everyting, but there's something called a lead pair and he's one half of it. :P

While I like Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo as Mer/Der, Grey's has such a fantastic ensemble cast, this show will go on and be successful for years to come even if they decide to leave. Every Actor I'm sure has to do what is best for him/her and if leaving Grey's is what's best, well then sincerest good wishes for a successful career.
Don't forget Grey's has incredible people like Eric Dane, Sara Ramirez, Jessica Capshaw, Chandra Wilson, SAndra Oh(yesh fellow Canadian), Chyler Leigh, James Pickens Jr., seriously what an incredible cast.
Grey's shall survive and hopefully Shonda Rhimes and her talented writers will continue creating great stories for each of the actors on this show....Yup going through Grey's withdrawal already.....I don't want the summer to go by quickly, but I can't wait for Sept 2011.

Doesn't make any difference if EP stays of goes because if PD leaves there is no Mer/Der and that means no reason to watch this night time soap opera. SR and the rest of the writers have destroyed this once great show and I hope she has the good sense to give it a decent burial in S8 by utilizing the original cast for a change and focusing on Mer/Der.

i cant really picture greys anatomy without derek and meredith and dont think i could watch it without them, but it really depends on how shonda designs patrick's exit and whether or not ellen pompeo (meredith goes with him)...because if meredith goes then i go, And lets be real, if there is no meredith, idk what they will do with cristina....sure she'll still have owen (hopefully) and surgery, but there is no greys anatomy without the twisted sisters. so, as much as i love greys, i think it should end after season 8.

I would definitely still watch the show if Sandra Oh stays. Meridith and Derek make the show boring. I think the reason behind greys success is bc of characters like Cristina yang!!

Generally grey's anatomy wouldn't be grey's anatomy if it weren't for meredith and derek!It would be advisable that the eighth season will be the last!Unless it ends, it will lose its glorry and lose its fans!But, like i said in previous posts we can't watch whatever we want!
