  Maybe katherine /damon can be frenemies. They would make a fun, snarky kick-ass team together. That way we get to see plenty of them together but not in a relationship?

  IA it would be great to see katherine do all the chasing for once but I can't see her falling for him either.

  Hey there, Isobel in 1x21 said Katherine found her out of curiosity whereas in 2x11 Kat said it was the other way around and Is tracked her down. I think this was a coded way of letting Isobel know she needed help which is why John came.

  I agree they're on the same team and have been working 2gether for a long long time.
