    Charlie Sheen IS Two and a Half Men and MADE the show. His chemistry with the characters is magical. Ashton accepted the job of filling in the huge void. I like Ashton and I would never bash him. However, there is not an instant connection with the character. Tonight I noticed that there were already re-runs for season 9. Really? What is that all about? I can watch the original cast anytime and am highly entertained. I have watched the new crew just for grins, but re-runs are not appealing. Ashton's character as a rich guy that was dumped by his wife (high school sweetie to boot) makes the character rathe pathetic. For instance, the shows Will and Grace, Cheers, and Fraiser had entertaining characters with cleaver writing. In my opinion, a great comedy show has gone to the wayside.
