Conflict is what makes a good show, like it or not.
If the baby were to die through some criminal action it might bring them closer together, rather than further apart.
But if the conflict centers around the two completely opposing poles of his religion and her science, then they will be at each other's throats - and THEN, indeed, will they not be able to be around each other.
Baptism is just the beginning. You saw his face when she spoke of dissecting a frog with her daughter. And Brennan's kid is halfway to a borading school in Switzerland already - "because it is the best school, Booth" - "but public school is good enough for Parker" he would say - to which she could reply "but not good enough for MY child"....
And they're off.
At which point they really couldn't keep working together.
You really think they're going to let Brennan and Booth keep the baby? You don't see one helluva horrible episode in the future, where something happens and she loses the baby or it gets born-kidnapped-killed?
There are too many conflicts for them to try to raise a kid together. The first one will be the baptism - can you see Brennen allowing it or Booth forgetting about it?
No, there'll be a heart-wrenching, tear-jerking episode and we'll be left crying....
I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I loved the old Two and a Half Men and I was worried that I would hate the new Two and a Half Men, but I thought the show was great!
The funeral was EXACTLY what a person like Charlie HARPER would have had. That was how women thought about him after he left them. They might change their minds if it looked like he was coming back (remember the one where Rose set up the hate Charlie website and they hated him until he, er, apologized) but that was the attitude when he dumped them. Why do people think they would have cried at his funeral?
And Ashton was great - just different enough from Charlie Harper to keep the show going and just enough like him to get on Alan's nerves.
I don't understand all the complaints. I laughed so hard I nearly fell off the couch!
