Gossip Girl Music Video Promo For Monday (11/7/2009)
Can't wait to see Eric of people take down Jenny. I can't stand b!tch Jenny- they tried that in Season 1 and I did not care nor like her character at all. Eric on the other hand has always been likable and she d!cked him more than a few times and he has always forgiven and been nice to her. She doesn't deserve him as a friend. Look at Blair of all people. She ruled the school and aside from Serena she has no real friends. Why on Earth would you want to be the Queen and come off lonely in the long run. And, for the love of God- Blair please GROW UP! If it weren't for Chuck she would be labeled kind of a loser. You are in college now. Find your niche and rock that out. You don't need that stupid hierarchy when you are out of high school. This show has to focus on the core characters and develop them... perhaps introduce some new interesting people. But honestly people, admit it this season is all over the place. Threesome big deal. Probably a drunk Serena- Nate (who really has no role anymore) and Tripp. I thought it would be Jenny, Eric, and Jonathan- but the last 2 are so innocent and sweet I think that people would be up in arms if they were involved in a scandal. They are probably a little young to be "doing it" even if this is Gossip Girl. But really enough of Blair trying to recreate the whole social hierarchy in college. It is and has been established already so she should just find her niche and just rule that and F'ing get on with the show already. Chuck is the ONLY character that has grown up and shown signs of maturity and moving on this season. Thank goodness for that!

What are they doing to my show?

I think this episode was just okay... we waited 3 months for that? All I could think of whenever I saw Serena go at it with Nate is that Serena (though I do think she is great) is such a whore. She really is. Take Blair's advice and SLOW THINGS DOWN... I guess that's a bit of a mute point. Their scenes were not sexy at all.

Please just write Jenny off the show. She is trying way too hard to be a bad ass. I hope that Rufus realizes what a screw up she is being a drug dealer and all and has her shipped off to boarding/ reform school... or she gets arrested and goes to jail... never to be seen again.

Dan is so boring now. Pairing up with Vanessa would be the kiss of death for him. Don't go there Dan. He is really only interesting with Serena but not sure if even that pairing would/ could save his character.

Why does Rufus still have his Brooklyn loft? And, is it now Dan's "bachelor pad?"

Blair and Chuck are also kind of boring. They are definitely my favorites on the show but Blair and her never ending quest for social dominance is getting old. I was kind of thinking, Blair wake up! You are already at the top! I just hope that "E" really is Chuck's mother. If its Jack screwing with him, Jack Bass should be beat up. Blair and Chuck could be so great together...

I don't know. I suppose I need to give the show some more time. Its just that their first 2 seasons were so strong and this season has kind of sucked so far. I never expected this show to de-volve instead of evolve. Maybe they are getting their bearings on trying to balance college/ Chuck's "career"/ Jenny in high school/ and Rufus and Lily being married. Drop the Jenny and the Rufus/ Lily storylines because nobody/ vast minority cares... or at least put them on the back burner... way in the back. Oh, and notice how Vanessa wasn't in this episode... notice how I didn't miss her at all. Seriously GG- Dan+Vanessa= super boring couple and the death of Dan's character. Who's taking bets on how many episodes this Serena and Nate pairing will last???

I hope this show gets better.
The Last Days of Disco Stick (11/16/2009)

Finally! a bit of progress.

Blair was great in this episode. She is moving forward and is establishing herself at college- please leave Constance behind. And she's finally making some headway! I did not mind that Chuck wasn't there at her show, its good that she arranged it all by her self. Don't get me wrong, I love Chair and look forward to really good upcoming scenes with the 2 of them together. I think what impresses me about Chuck so far this season is that he is actually maturing as a character... he still has all the great and clever lines but is acting like an adult.

Oh Serena... you already know that there is no future with Tripp so why even go there? And, Nate is right, a few episodes ago she was in love with Carter... now getting it on with a married man... and a politician? She and Tripp are cheating regardless of the current state of his marriage... there were no blurred lines he's still married!

I will say thank goodness there was no Nate and Serena reconnect. We do not need to see everyone hooking up with everyone else in the show.

Jenny is trying too hard... again. They should have let her get arrested for drug possession... I could already picture her mug shot... with her smugged and excessive eye makeup. That European guy is bad news. But, I suppose since Jenny has no friends she needs some excitement.

What ever happened to Serena's dad's letter? Do we think Lily kept it from her? And, who's betting she opened and read it?

Oh gosh! Dan and V... a couple??? The only pairing more boring than Dan and Olivia... would be Dan and Vanessa. And, Nate was right that the 3rd person in a 3some should be a stranger... if Olivia were smart, they should have set some ground rules where Dan would not have been allowed to touch Vanessa... Olivia could touch (or do whatever she wanted to) either Dan or Vanessa but Dan and Vanessa weren't supposed to do anything thing to eachother. The other would watch while Olivia did her thing with whoever. There you have it my rules for a successful couples 3some.

Was anyone else bothered by Dan's chest hair in this episode? a little out of control. And, Dan's character is turning into a bit of a tool.

Lady GaGa was and is awesome! Bravo Gossip Girl for snagging her.
Reversals of Fortune (9/14/2009)

We waited all summer for this?

I will admit I was rather disappointed... I'd call it a lack luster season premiere. Blair was way too needy in this episode. I love Blair but her insecurities and doing un-Blair like things (like agreeing to that silly/ lame "stranger model skank picks up Chuck and Blair kicks her out" game) was ridiculous- and no self respecting woman would ever agree to it. Let alone B- Nope, never.

Vanessa and Scott seem very mismatched... and Nate and Bree... B-O-R-I-N-G... at least so far... get back in the helicopter and fly away.

Serena was great though... She's the "wild", partying socialite with a heart.

The season can only get better from here. I have faith and Gossip Girl has not disappointed thus far. I just hope they don't lose focus on why we love this show. I'm already waiting for next week's episode.

And finally... Season 2 on DVD :)
