  • Gossip Girl Producers: Chuck & Blair Will Always Be There (4/9/2010)

Thank goodness Jenny is getting the boot. That girl is a waste of storyline and eyeliner. CANNOT STAND HER! Good riddance, hopefully she gets shipped off to boarding school never to be heard of again. Chuck is a bastard. If Jack were truly a dick he would have slept with Blair and then told her about the deal... see, even Jack has more morals than Chuck. Chuck needs to leave Blair alone and Blair needs to MOVE ON. Forget about him. Chuck and Blair getting married would be retarded- they'd still have the same problems and they are only 19/20! Transfer to Columbia or hello Yale! and start anew. In "reality" she should move to Europe to finish her studies, but this is GG and we need Blair in NYC. So Columbia it is. She can go wild, be a socialite, go out a lot, head or chair a bunch of charities/ committees and enjoy being beautiful, rich, and young in NYC. Eventually she should find some awesome millionaire's son and just forget about Chuck for a little while. They can reunite in like 10 years and eventually get married but right now, they shouldn't be together. HE doesn't deserve her, and he turned her into a whimp. She made him boring... Sorry, but its true. If the writers truly had guts, they would also kiss Dan and Vanessa goodbye and slowly phase out Lilly and Rufus... Serena and Blair can move in together and take over the show... Chuck, Nate, Georgina, Carter can all stay. Until then, I'll take Jenny being banished from NYC never to be heard from again.

    WTF???

Gossip Girl is AWFUL this season!  I agree with a previous poster that I am so over Chair.  BORING!  The only thing they got right this episode is that Blair will hopefully transfer to Columbia.  It was lame and naive for them to even imply that people at Columbia (an ivy league school!) would care to read Gossip Girl when a place like NYU which is pretty much- ie you can afford the tuition? cool you're in!  MONEY driven didn't.  Shame on you Gossip Girl!

Stop the agony of Vanessa and Dan.  OMG I think I threw up in my mouth a few times whenever those two were on screen.  Writing about them despresses and disgusts me...

I can't stand Jenny but thank goodness she is at least semi-normal again... that is until she starts stalking Nate... sorry chica- your competition is SERENA... you don't stand a chance.

What's up with Jack's hair???  And, its kind of silly when you think that he is obsessing and warring with a 19 year old... despite how mature Chuck looks in an ascot.

During the previews I was hoping that GG would NOT go down the "Indecent Proprosal" route... have we been reduced to this?  Should we just consider Season 3 a loss and just start hoping for a stellar season 4???

  • How To Succeed In Bassness (10/27/2009)

... an okay episode.  This season is really starting off really slow...  I remembered thinking last night that none of these storylines really intrigued me.  I await each new episode hoping that something interesting happens, as opposed to last season where I couldn't wait to see what happened next.

Blair is kind of a disappointment thus far.  Don't get me wrong, I love B.  She's awesome but she is lost and her meddling and pettiness are silly.  Maybe they are trying to show some kind of arc of character development/ maturity but for goodness sake GROW UP and enjoy your college life and Chuck Bass.

WTF is up with Jenny?  She is wearing way too much make up- to the point where it looks ridiculous... not edgy or hip.  She's trying too hard.  And, TOTALLY NOT COOL being so mean to Eric.  He has always been so nice and supportive of her- he's your step brother for Pete's sake.  And, though being a b!tch works for Blair we already went there in season 1 with J trying to be a b!tch and it does not work!  So knock it off- I liked dress maker Jenny not Queen B.  Yeah, yeah, yeah you have to be mean to rule the mean girls but can't J revolutionize Constance and rule the school without being mean?

I thought Serena looked really pretty in this episode- but her cleavage at the party was out of control.

Dan = the new Nate (he's hooking up left and right).

You'd think that Nate would hang out uptown at Columbia more considering he goes there.

I didn't comment on this last week, but Chuck or I should say Ed plays Chuck perfectly.  The whole scene where that guy kisses Chuck was handled perfectly... and all I could remember thinking was that he's so cool.

    Long live Chair!

  • The Lost Boy (9/29/2009)

This has been the best episode for season 3 thus far.  Blair and Chuck were back to being their old selves and I literally laughed out loud, when Blair took Chuck's shoes to prevent him to going to the auction.  So cute.

Scott was lame.  He put V in a really weird spot and of course Georgie is going to drop that bomb later on this season.  But I'm glad that Serena called Georgie out on all the crazy and evil crap she pulled in the past... Vanessa and Dan forgave and forgot way too easily.

Poor Nate.  He really has no role since Blair broke up with him.  Bree is boring... and she and Nate even more boring.  I don't care if she and the Buckleys want to take Carter down... at least not yet.  Maybe with time they'll get more interesting but really Nate's character is even more boring than when he was dating Vanessa.

Serena looked kind of messy in this episode...

But, promising...  Can't tell what to make of next week's episode from the preview... We'll have to wait and see...
