  Marshall Mann wins my vote for best partner simply for having the coolest name for a US Marshal. I'll never forget Mary's response when she learned his first name. It still makes me laugh. He's also loyal, sincere and the best counter balance to all that is Mary Shannon.

  I don't really care what they do with the Mary/Marshall relationship of will they or won't they because we have already seen so much growth between them. I for one think it's the fact that Mary is opening up to any partner that is the important moment for her (and this show) that may mean she can move beyond the damage her father's leaving has caused to all her relationships. I will really miss this show when it's gone. It has definitely been appointment TV for me. I don't think there's any character on television right now that's as complicated or interesting as Mary Shannon. I want to thank the writers, producers and actors for sharing this journey with us because it sure has been one interesting ride. I can honestly say it's the only show I've ever made a point of finding in the schedule (and sometimes it was hard to find) because there was something about it that just kept drawing me back.
