• The show is going downhill (1/29/2009)

  I think Dead Denny is the writer's little revenge on Katherine for dissing the scripting.  "Oh, you think the stories aren't good enough for your nomination?  FINE.  Take this!!!"  And bam, there's Dead Denny.  And not just Dead Denny, but Dead Denny having sex with Izzie???  SOOOOOO AWKWARD!!  I mean, you had to know she had something wrong with her when she was having sex with a dead person...and not with the body of a dead person, although that also would have tipped me off that she'd gone a little crazy or something...

  But, McAbby, I too have faith that it will get better.  Dead Denny's gone...we know Izzie's sick (possibly dying?)...so something's gotta happen there.  Hopefully Izzie doesn't go into the creepy underworld of Bomb Guy and Denny and the dog in the empty OR.  It still creeps me out just a little to think of Bomb Guy being stuck in the empty hospital and now whenever I go in the hospital all I can think about is where the dead are lurking.  *Shudder*

  In any case, Katherine's paid her dues for the negative comments...let's just all hope they bury the Dead Denny hatchet (AND Dead Denny) and things mooooove on!

• You know you're a Grey's fan when... (1/29/2009)

  ...When you would rather quit your job and go on unemployment than stay at work as per your boss' request and thus miss the next new episode of Grey's (ESPECIALLY during sweeps)

  ...When you can relate every situation in your life to something that happened on Grey's, so it's not abnormal for you to contribute to a conversation by saying, "Yeah, that's exactly like the time that Meredith..."

  ...When your friends limit you to 1 hour per day of Grey's Anatomy talk

  ...When you read your cell biology book and rather than taking notes on the slide show in front of you, you simply go home and watch 3 seasons of Grey's waiting for the same issue to pop up and then use Grey's Anatomy on your bio test in an answer to an essay.  (And you don't care if you fail because your professor OBVIOUSLY doesn't understand that Grey's is superior to the morons who wrote the cell bio book.)

  ...When you go to your doctor and after he makes his suggestion about treating your cold your answer is, "On Grey's Anatomy they treated this ailment differently.....can I see your most recent certification please?"

• Is Izzie going to die? (1/29/2009)

  I've thought since last season that Izzie was going to die.  I mean, first she turns down her nomination for an award because her part wasn't deserving.  THEN the writers get really angry and give her the MOST RIDICULOUS story line in all of television history (except the Lost storyline...which is just entirely pointless...) and thus Katherine realizes not only does she think Grey's is stupid, but now they're giving her increasingly idiotic story lines.  Of course she's gonna die!!  Or if she doesn't die, she'll inevitably have some type of brain tumor that will inhibit her from proceeding with her career.  She'll leave the show, whether she dies or not is left to be seen.  I almost think that it's smarter to just have her unable to perform the tasks of surgeon but available for little appearances later on.

  Nonetheless, there's always the slight chance that she'll survive some crazy complicated surgery that puts all the surgeons but especially Alex and McDreamy under intense pressure.  And then she'll bury the hateful hatchet with the writers and continue her deer-saving ways. 

  OOOOORRRR George will muck up the surgery in some weird way, kill Izzie and then quit.  Thus the total decline of the best show EVER.
