  Riley, Just my opinion, but.. Nate drunkenly hooking up with a *ahem* "free-spirited" Serena and thus betrayed his gf Blair, who I do think he has affection for but never loved VS. Nate starting a relationship with the one woman his best friend has ever loved Not even close, and I feel that if Nate did the 2nd it would be character assassination to how Nate has been written thus far in the series.

  I love the idea of Blair and Nate become good friends again, I also completely agree with Daniela that seeing an unexpected male/female friendship would be great (perhaps they could get deeper with the Chuck/Vanessa one that's already semi-started). The reason that Nate/Blair romantically shouldn't happen is very simple: Nate and Chuck's friendship. Nate as we know him wouldn't do that to Chuck.
