  I like the idea, because otherwise, where has Georgina been since going back to the Dark Side?!

  One of the scenes in the blooper reel shows Blair going up to Nate, in that Green Coat we've seen in the "kiss" scenes. However, she doesn't kiss him. So either that scene is a blooper because she's supposed to kiss him--meaning that the scene with Nate is the real scene?! Or it's a blooper in general because it was the fakeout?

  I can't hear a darn thing, but I know some of you sleuths are much better at figuring this stuff out. What do you think? If it's a blooper because she fails to deliver her real lines correctly, then maybe that means that the Nate scene is real and the Chuck scene is there to fake us out! Or maybe she's saying something else that would reveal that the Nate scene is indeed a fake.

  To be honest I kind of hope the Chuck outdoor kiss is fake, just because I would hate to think they gave away the good stuff like that by filming it outside where everyone could see in advance! I hope the real "I love you" scene is surprising and new.

  I think we should have two "love squares" next year:

  Blair/Chuck/Vanessa/Dan, which basically writes itself. A Vanessa-Dan hookup is a natural progression to begin season 3 with. I don't think they should do anything to bring Chuck and Vanessa together--just leave it simmering, with a little shared sexual tension because of their past, and Blair being totally jealous about it. The new and exciting part would be Blair connecting with Dan--they've always had amusing tension, and now that he and Serena are done it can develop. The actors look really cute together, too. This would truly drive Chuck insane with jealousy, so if Blair feels insecure about Vanessa, this would be the perfect way to get them both back for it.

  It would also be interesting to see Vanessa and Blair become grudging friends, as perhaps each needs the other for different reasons. Lots of interesting stories could set that interdependent, frenemies thing up.

  The other square would be Serena/Carter/Jenny/Nate. Nate should date Jenny, keeping that highschool-college link going for other stories. However, Nate's past with Serena will complicate things for Jenny, and Nate will try to interfere with a burgeoning union between S and Carter. Carter needs serious improvement before that can happen. We need to know, for example, some understandable motives he had for doing bad things in Season 1. But since Carter's a bad boy, he might put some moves on Jenny even if he's interested in Serena.

  I'm not sure what can be done with the new half-sibling, since he makes any relationship between S and D seem incestous and freaky, and he can't really connect with any other major player. Could he fall in with Georgina, perhaps? That might work. And I love Georgina. She should be a constant presence to stir up drama for the others. She's so funny, too!

  Long term, I'd love to see Serena get some brand-new storylines focused on her, and a clearer sense of who this character is and where she's going. She seems to just flop all over the map for no real purpose.
