Such a better episode than whatever the hell it was we watched last week. That last scene of Peggy was perfect.

(Cont...) I actually liked the gray area of falling for your ex-husbands brother because it's a further aspect of the show that touches on a topic that's frowned upon. You don't fall for your ex-husbands brother but the show dragged us into understanding who these two individuals were and their own struggles with the idea of liking each other. Before you knew it, we found ourselves understanding their situation which many of us, would’ve previously judged and dismissed as unthinkable. The show could actually be really good, with a lot of depth but it unfortunately went to a whole new place this season :(

This will sound silly but I honestly gave up watching this show quite a few episodes back... when Riley started to take a back seat, and Kyle in prison became the main focus of the show bla bla bla. However, I really enjoyed season one so every now and then I'll find myself clicking on the latest review to see if the show has got its guts back. It hasn't. I really loved this show when it started because there was something about a lead female character finding herself in a horrible situation, provided an inappropriate solution, and taking it to provide for her and her kids. The writing forced viewers to watch the gray areas in an individual’s life and not everything be so black and white. This season, Riley's character just isn't somebody I want to cheer on. I wish she wouldn't have been handed ownership of the spa so easily because there was no real life struggle there. Writing Kyle back into her life was just a further easy solution to 'piecing broken things back together'.
